NOTE: We are a small business with limited staff, so if you don't get through on the first try, please be patient! Also, we often travel to shows and events across the country which might mean that we are out a day or two around the weekend. We don't take 4-day weekends for our health! Thanks for your understanding and patronage.

Terms of Sale

Payment:

The following forms of payment are accepted:

  • Money orders
  • Certified checks
  • Personal checks (will be held for 10 days to clear before shipping)
  • PayPal
  • Visa or Mastercard

We do NOT accept the following:

  • NO C.O.D.'s
  • NO Western Union or wire transfers
  • NO American Express or Discover

All orders must be paid in full before shipping.
Please make bank drafts/money orders payable to Grigsby Militaria.

  • Be sure to state all relevant sizes, colors, etc desired if you mail in the order.
Pricing:
Prices are always subject to change without notice. Sale prices are in effect for the specified time period only. We frequently offer better prices at shows and reenactments. After the event, catalog prices go back into effect.
Availability:
Please feel free to call or check our website for the most up to date information on product availability. The website has the most up-to-date inventory information.
Back-orders:
If you ordered or sent money for an item that was supposed to be in stock at the time, and we expect to restock it soon, we will back-order the item for you and make every attempt to contact you about it. We cannot or will not back-order an item that has no chance of showing up. We do keep "want lists" from customers on certain items, so feel free to contact us.
Returns/Exchanges:
If the product is in any way unsatisfactory, send it back in the original condition that you received it in, within 15 days for a refund or exchange. If the item is noticably used, we cannot issue a refund; anything sent back in such a condition will be sent back to the customer.

We will credit your original method of payment, excluding shipping and handling charges: If it's our fault that we sent you the wrong item, or a defective item, then we will reimburse the shipping charges as well. "Wrong item" means the item was not what was specifically ordered (wrong size, different item, etc). We are not responsible for the customer ordering the wrong size, etc.

Shipping Options:
  • All domestic/continental US orders are shipped via UPS insured (We do not ship to P.O. Boxes). UPS has just about the most reliable tracking capability of all, and all shipments can be tracked online via the UPS website (contact us for the tracking number). We can offer other shipping options such as FedEx, Airborne Express, etc, but special arrangements will have to be made and may incur additional costs. See the below chart for UPS rates.
  • Packages over 10lbs may require additional shipping.
  • UPS 3-Day Select, 2nd-Day and Overnight are available at additional cost. Due to UPS' increases as a result of higher fuel prices, predicting the rates by weight has become increasingly impossible to gauge; please contact us before you order if you need faster service.
  • Orders to Hawaii and Alaska are required to ship at least by 2nd Day Air rate if you choose UPS. We recommend using US Post as a cheaper option (same rate as UPS ground), but they are not insured unless you pay extra. Due to UPS' increases as a result of higher fuel prices, predicting the rates by weight has become increasingly impossible to gauge; please contact us before you order.
  • APO/FPO orders are shipped US Post at the below UPS Ground rate.
  • Please let us know if you have special time restraints or other shipping needs.

International Shipping:

All international packages will ship via US Post (International Priority). Please contact us for shipping rates. We also charge a $5.00 handling fee for international orders due to the added time required for processing. International Priority Mail provides a tracking number, whereas normal surface or air mail does not.

  • Please allow at least 1-2 weeks from the time you place your order until you receive it.
  • Customer is responsible for paying any and all customs duties, fees or tariffs levelled by their country! We will not falsify or understate the value of a package on customs forms.  Period.
  • We do NOT accept bank wire-transfers, Western Union wires, etc of any kind, period. See payment options above.
  • If the package is missing: Even with the insurance on shipping, this may still happen. If you do not receive your package within 2 weeks of our ship date, please contact us. We must submit forms to our post office within 30 days of shipping for insurance claims.
  • IMPORTANT! German or French Orders: We cannot ship merchandise to Germany or France that has swastikas, SS runes or death's head emblems. Those emblems are deemed illegal by the respective governments; you run the risk of getting in serious trouble by customs over there.
